The MND Special Interest Group (SIG) Workshop is for health and community care professionals who have an interest in Motor Neurone Disease (MND).  People living with MND and their family members are also welcome to attend without cost.

There will be presentations, round table discussions, demos, breakout rooms and plenty of yummy food to keep us going throughout the day.

The theme this year is From Insight to Impact: Exploring the Practicalities of MND Care.

Come prepared to learn about how other members of the MND workforce approach the practicalities of MND care and share the methods and approaches that work for you.

Abstracts are OPEN!

We are seeking abstracts from health and community care professionals who are interested in delivering a short presentation about their work or research. Your abstract should address the theme.

If you are a person living with MND, a carer or another member of the MND community you are also welcome to submit an abstract or contact us directly to explore other ways to be involved in the event.

Certificate of Attendance

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance after the event.

Registration and Cost

This event is open to all health and community care professionals regardless of your experience. People living with MND and their family members are also welcome to attend.

  • Early bird ticket: $120 pp until 31 Jan 2026
  • Regular registrant: $150 pp from 1 Feb 2026 until registrations close
  • Free ticket for people living with MND and carers.
